Development of Lake Forest began in the late 1970s, and since then it has evolved through several "sections" and development continues. Lake Forest is about one mile east of the Gene Snyder Freeway (I-265) with the signature entrance located off Shelbyville Rd (US-60). As the development has grown, it's also accessible from Old Henry Rd., Aiken Rd, Bush Farm and other entrances. It's about a five-minute drive from Middletown and it's Grocery/Dining and other services.
